Dr. Traian Amzica is an orthopedic surgeon dedicated to helping patients regain mobility and return to the activities they love. Specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery, he has been serving patients at Hôpital Pierre-Boucher in Quebec for over a decade. 

What inspired Dr. Amzica to pursue orthopedic surgery is not only his passion for musculoskeletal health, but also his personal experience as a surgical patient earlier in life. Having gone through recovery himself, he brings a deeper level of empathy and understanding to the physical and emotional journey his patients face.

After completing his medical and surgical training at the Université de Montréal, Dr. Amzica pursued advanced fellowship training in hip and knee arthroplasty at the world-renowned Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute in Italy. He continues to refine his expertise through international training in the latest joint replacement techniques. 

Alongside his surgical practice, Dr. Amzica is passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians.
