Dr. Costa currently lives in Calgary, AB, is fully licensed to practice in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, and holds a faculty appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor with the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Costa maintains an active private orthopaedic practice at Ortho South, and works collaboratively with Gateway Surgery in Calgary, and the Specialist Referral Clinic and Cambie Surgery in Vancouver.

Outside of orthopaedics, Dr. Costa (along with his wife and two young boys) can frequently be found enjoying the many recreational opportunities available in BC and Alberta, including hiking, camping, canoeing, fishing, surfing, skiing, snowboarding, and of course plenty of hockey!
