Dr. Hughes received his Medical Degree from the University of Toronto in 2007. He completed his five-year Orthopedic residency at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, and obtained his Fellowship in Shoulder, Elbow and Knee Arthroscopy as well as Upper Extremity Reconstruction at the Pan Am Clinic in Winnipeg, MB. He specializes is Arthroscopy, Upper Extremity Reconstruction and Trauma. Dr. Hughes serves as an Associate Team Physician and the Consulting Orthopedic Surgeon for the Kamloops Blazers Hockey Team and the Kamloops Broncos Football Club. He has a busy sports medicine and upper extremity reconstruction practice here in Kamloops. He enjoys many sports and has a very active lifestyle with his young family.
