About
Dr. Benny is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee arthroplasty. He is an expert in advanced surgical techniques and cutting-edge technologies: large-diameter prostheses, dual mobility, personalized alignment, minimally invasive surgery, robotics, and surgical navigation.
He completed his orthopedic surgery training at the University of Sherbrooke, followed by a subspecialty in complex lower limb reconstruction at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.
He began his practice in 2018 at the CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal, where he served as head of the orthopedic department at Notre-Dame Hospital for five years. During his tenure, he contributed to the implementation of the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocol, promoting better rehabilitation and reducing post-operative complications. For the past three years, he has been practicing at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital (CIUSSS de l’Est-de-l’Île-de-Montréal), a Canadian reference center for hip and knee replacement.
