Dr. Baughan has practiced over 20 years in Kamloops, at both the local hospital and Kamloops Surgical Centre. He is a team leader for the Enhanced Recovery After Colon Surgery initiative, and involved on the trauma committee. Dr. Baughan completed his Bachelor of Medical Science, Medical School, and General Surgery Residency at the University of Alberta. He is currently a Clinical Instructor with the University of British Columbia. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He practices a broad range of general surgery at Royal Inland Hospital. His clinical areas of interest include complex hernias and minimally invasive surgery
