About

Dr. Éric Paradis is an obstetrician and gynaecologist who sees patients privately at Chirurgie DIX30 in Brossard, on Montreal's South Shore. He trained in obstetrics and gynaecology at the Université de Montréal, graduating in 1997, and led the gynaecology department at Hôpital Pierre-Boucher in Longueuil for more than two decades. His work centres on minimally invasive gynaecologic surgery, and he co-directs advanced laparoscopic surgery workshops for gynaecologists through the Association des obstétriciens et gynécologues du Québec (AOGQ).

Clinical Focus & Specialties

  • Endometriosis Treatment: Surgical treatment of endometriosis, a condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside it and can cause pelvic pain, painful periods, and fertility concerns.
  • Ovarian Cyst & Ovary Surgery: Laparoscopic removal of ovarian cysts, aiming to preserve the ovary where possible, and removal of one or both ovaries (oophorectomy) when needed.
  • Fallopian Tube Removal (Salpingectomy): Removal of one or both fallopian tubes for concerns such as blocked or fluid-filled tubes, or as a permanent form of contraception.
  • Hysteroscopy & Polyp Removal: A minimally invasive procedure that uses a thin camera passed through the cervix to examine the inside of the uterus and remove polyps, often for abnormal or heavy bleeding.
