Dr. Rick Zarnett is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in knee and shoulder surgery with an emphasis on arthroscopy, sports medicine and knee replacement. He is known for his expertise in ACL reconstruction. His procedural expertise includes:

• robotically-assisted knee replacement
• knee arthroscopy: meniscal repair, meniscectomy, root repair
• primary and revision ACL reconstruction
• shoulder arthroscopy incl. stabilization and labral repair

Dr. Zarnett is the head physician for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League, the Orthopaedic Surgeon for the York University Sports Medicine Team and a consultant to the NHL Players Association. In the past he was an orthopaedic surgeon for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the NHL.

Dr. Zarnett is one of the first orthopaedic surgeons in Toronto to specialize in sports medicine. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Surgery at University of Toronto and is the co-medical director to Clearpoint Health in Toronto.
