Dr. Justin LeBlanc is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon based in Calgary, Alberta He combines advanced subspecialty training (including a dedicated shoulder research fellowship in Australia) with a strong commitment to medical education, simulation training, and resident instruction at the University of Calgary.
Dr. LeBlanc is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary and a Preceptor for the Senior Sport Rotation, teaching residents advanced arthroscopic techniques. He is passionate about medical education, and you will often find Dr. LeBlanc teaching students at the Advanced Technical Skills Simulation Laboratory (ATSSL – Cumming School of Medicine), during his clinics at Access Orthopedics and in the operating room.
Dr. LeBlanc considers himself a true Calgarian. He is an avid Calgary Flames and Stampeders fan and enjoys spending time with his friends and family in the city and mountains. During his free time he enjoys travelling, hiking, snowboarding, a good book, and seeking out new adventures with his wife, son, and rambunctious sheepadoodle.
